Transitioning

I had full intentions to make the switch as the post after Maximo's first birthday post. I want this blog to be more of a family blog. Maximo is very interesting to read about (as you all know), but we really experience some interesting things living overseas that we'd love to share - sometimes frustrating, often times funny, and if nothing else, this will serve as an archive of our family. I also was grappling with the idea of what happens when we have another child? Do I then have to keep up with two blogs? I don't want he or she to feel second best to Maximo. I am much more inclined to regularly post on a blog than I am writing in a journal or keeping up with a scrapbook. My mother and sister put me to shame in those categories. This also helps prevent me from sending out impersonal bulk emails to our friends and family with attached pictures that take 15 minutes to download about what is going on in our lives thousands of miles away.
This is currently a work in progress, I don't know where it will go or what type of things will be posted here - it may just be the mundane events in our life. Hopefully it'll include our adventures of travel, moving to a new country, and expanding our family.
