Happy Father's Day!

My dear friend, Anne, gave me this great idea: A Father's Day book. Every year, I'll include a picture of Max (and any other children that come our way) and let him write a message to his dad or decorate the page. I also created pages for 2007 & 2008.

Who are Los Lemleys?

Los Lemleys are John, Julie, Maximo and Lola. We're currently living on Rokko Island in Kobe, Japan. Here we write about our happenings and share photos of our life abroad.

We started blogging in 2007 when we had to keep family and friends updated on what was going on with our premature baby.

Over a year later, we transitioned from the Lo Maximo blog to Los Lemleys where you'll find vignettes of our lives as we travel, move, teach, and raise our third culture kids.

Disclaimer: This is NOT a cultural or literary masterpiece, nor is it intended to be. It's a way for us to document our adventures for our family and friends. It'll hopefully be something Maximo & Lola can look back on, since their baby book is a bit bare and she only has a meager folder with ultrasound photos and a legal document or two.
